How to use

After extracting follow the process below to use the child theme.

Upload the child theme on your website:

  • Go to Appearance -> Themes
  • Click on Add new
  • Upload Hospital Child Theme – TNC
  • Click Activate

Install Required Plugins

After activating the child you will get a message to install the required plugins

  • Click Begin installing plugins
  • Select all and from the bulk settings select install and then install the required plugins. All the plugins are free and required to make this theme functional. So make sure you install all of them properly.
  • After installing, go to plugins and activate the installed plugins

Import demo data

  • Go to the Appearance tab -> Import Demo data
  • Click on Import demo data and the process will automatically start

Change the Menu

  • Go to Appearance and then Menus
  • Select the Primary menu
  • Click save

Change the Permalink structure

  • Go to Settings -> permalinks
  • Select “Post name” as the permalink structure
  • Click save settings

Change the Reading settings:

  • Go to Settings -> Reading
  • From “Your homepage displays” select “A static page”
  • Select Home as the Homepage
  • Select Blog as the Posts page

Import templates in Theme Builder

  • Go to Divi -> Theme Builder
  • At the top right corner, you will see a portability option (up and down arrow). Click on that.
  • Portability Popup will come up
  • Go to the Import tab
  • Select the Theme Builder layout file that you got while downloading the file
  • Click Import Divi Builder Templates

Select the WooCommerce Pages

  • Go to WooCommerce -> Settings
  • Then go to Products
  • Select Shop as the Shop Page. You need to select the shop page that comes with the child theme, not the previously generated one.
  • Then go to Advanced
  • Select the Cart Page, Checkout Page, and My Account Page. You need to select the pages that come with the child theme, no the previously generated one.
  • Click Save Changes

Import Product Filters

  • Go to Product Filters
  • Click on Import
  • Select the product file and your products will be uploaded

Clear Static CSS File Generation

  • Go to Divi -> Theme Options
  • Then from the builder tab go to Advanced
  • Click clear beside Static CSS File Generation field
