2. Default Model: You can choose from different voice options within each language, and customize tone, pronunciation, and speed. A total of 43 voices are available.

3. Default Speed: You can select the default speed of the voice, and make it slow fast, or original. The user may be able to choose it based on the visibility settings below.

4. Default Pitch: You can select the default pitch of the voice, the user may be able to choose it based on the visibility settings below.

5. Visibility Settings: You can select which controls you want your readers to have for the Transcribe feature.

How to Use Transcribe

• Active Transcribe: Enable or Disable the Transcribe feature for this FlipBook

• Open PDF: Open your PDF file in TNC FlipBook.

• Access Transcribe: Click on the “headphones icon” to start listening.

• Select Language: Choose your desired language.
• Select Voice: Select your preferred voice.
• Start Playback: Click “Read”
• Adjust Settings: Use playback controls (Read, Pause, Resume, Stop)
• Stop Playback: Click “Stop.”

Troubleshooting

No Sound:

• Check if your speakers or headphones are properly connected and turned on.
• Ensure the volume is turned on your computer.
• Check if the correct audio output device is selected on your computer.

Playback Issues:

• If you select another voice while reading, it will give you an error message (Already reading. Please pause or stop first) Before selecting another voice or language or anything, you need to stop reading first.
• Whenever someone turns the page without stopping, it will not play the next page, you must stop and then turn the new page to read the page.
• Check your internet connection if required for certain voices.

Tips for Best Experience

• For best listening, use headphones or speakers in a quiet environment.
• Experiment with different voices and speeds to find the settings that work best for you
• Simplify PDF and avoid images, it can’t read image text inside PDF. Avoid complicated PDF formatting.
